Be Happy!  Audience Favourites to Make You Smile
 
A Cappella Plus is offering a choice of two informal, intimate cabaret performances in April: one in Nanaimo, the other in Parksville.  This is a program of favourites nominated by people who have attended past concerts. Let us entertain you! The Beach Boy’s iconic hit, Good Vibrations is what this program is all about!  Catch A Falling Star is a well-known blast from the past.  Fly Me to the Moon is a perennial jazz favourite and... who isn’t fascinated by Freddie Mercury’s Bohemian Rhapsody?  We certainly are!  John Lennon’s Imagine is a compelling piece of music as is Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. Both are Pentatonix arrangements that we love to sing!  The women will groove to Stop in the Name of Love and the men will charm us with a Salute to Doo Wop.  Sing along with Hello Dolly and be reminded of the power of friendship and support with Simon and Garfunkle’s Bridge Over Troubled Water.  We will Put On A Happy Face and take The Long and Winding Road to entertain you the best way we know how.  We can hardly wait to share this program with you. 
 
A cash bar will be available so plan to arrive a bit early to enjoy a before-the-show drink and visit with friends. Intermission will be an opportunity to refresh your drink and enjoy a small snack.  It will be a perfect way to spend a few hours!

April 29 2:30 pm in the Newcastle Island Lobby at the Vancouver Island Conference Center.  This is a new Nanaimo venue for us and we are excited to share it with you!   Just take the elevator up to the Conference Level and turn right when you step out!   
 
Tickets are $23, available online at www.acappellaplus.ca or from members of the choir.  
Please note:  seats must be reserved in advance.  There will be no ticket sales at the door.
